Foreign Expert for the Program Development of National Sports Structure, Olympic Solidarity

Czech Curling Association (CZECA)

The Czech Curling Association is seeking a candidate for the position of Foreign Expert for the Program Development of National Sports Structure, Olympic Solidarity.

CZECA has been included into the program of Olympic Solidarity, Development of National Sports Structure. The purpose of the program is to extend and increase the level of the national coaches.

CZECA expects a successful candidate to complete at least two-monthly stays in the Czech Republic during the season 2014 / 2015 (autumn and spring courses).

During these stays, the foreign expert will cooperate with Czech curling coaches of national teams, coaches of the Youth Sports Centre as well as with the coaches of Extra-league teams.

If you are interested in this position of the Foreign Expert, please submit your proposal including:

1) a structured C.V. focusing on coaching expertise

2) any evidence of appropriate education/trainings you have passed (a WCF certificate, or certificate(s) of national curling association(s))

3) a philosophy/concept of your expected job for CZECA including the budget and remuneration requirements.

You will be asked to explain your concept at a presentation to the representatives of CZECA held either personally, or electronically. CZECA will compensate the travel costs linked with the personal presentation to the winner of the pitch.

National Men's Team Coach

Russian Curling Federation (Russia)

The Russian Curling Federation is seeking a candidate for the position of National Men’s Team Coach.

Term: 2014-2015 curling season (from September 1, 2014) including Le Gruyere European Curling Championships 2014 and the Ford World Men's Curling Championship 2015 if the team successfully qualify.

2015-2018 curling seasons including all European and World Curling Championships.

Goal: Qualification for the Ford World Men's Curling Championship 2015 and thereafter a good performance at that Championship. Ultimate goal is to qualify for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

Special Requirements: To stay with the team in Russia (Moscow or Sochi) during a team preparation period.

Requirements: You must have previous experience as a national curling coach, provide a full Curriculum vitae (resume) and include written curling concepts and strategies for developing the Russian men's national team.
